“I’m a writer. Most recently I co-wrote the screenplay of an independent feature film called Jacqueline Remembers All of This. It will be premiering sometime in 2025 and hitting the film festival circuit! I also write poetry, personal essays (see my most recent one in the current issue of Matters Magazine!), and I have a first novel in progress.”
Why are you attracted to a coworking space like Maplewood Cowork?
“I have two small children at home, so having a space to retreat to that is not my bedroom is incredibly helpful! And a space where I can always get free coffee? It’s a dream come true.”
How is this space convenient for you?
“The phone booths are incredibly convenient, as well as the monthly credits to use toward booking a larger meeting room. Knowing that I can always grab a phone call in private or even host professional meetings when they come up is wonderful.”
What have been some unexpected bonuses of your membership at Maplewood Cowork?
“My favorite unexpected bonuses of Maplewood Cowork are the Monday farmers market down the block, and the close proximity to the Maplewood Hilton branch library and Maplecrest Park. I can have books waiting for me at the library, pick up fresh produce for dinner, and sit on a park bench all during one lunch break. It’s delightful!”
